Ovation by Avamere in Washington, UT seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff in independent living and memory care settings. You will perform duties across resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, following infection control practices and daily procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with various cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in resident rooms and common areas.
• Sanitize bathroom fixtures and remove watermarks.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, disinfect floors, and manage carpets.
• Clean walls and ceilings; remove dirt and disinfect surfaces.
• Disinfect surfaces and remove dirt, film, or grease.
• Coordinate routine isolation cleaning with nursing care after resident discharge.
• Dispose of waste and ensure proper trash liner usage.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and store equipment properly.
• Follow fire safety policies and established sanitation procedures.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment to supervisor.
