Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a dependable Housekeeper / Dining Attendant to join Dogwood Terrace by Barclay House in Virginia. The role combines housekeeping and dining duties to create a clean, welcoming environment for residents, with attention to safety and food-service standards.

You will support daily living for seniors, including setup, service, and cleanup in dining areas, while maintaining clean resident spaces and adhering to guidelines. Weekend/holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or food service preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Duties: Maintain the community in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition
• Housekeeping Duties: Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical spaces, common areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
• Housekeeping Duties: Use appropriate cleaning chemicals, supplies, and methods in accordance with procedures and state guidelines
• Housekeeping Duties: Properly operate and maintain housekeeping equipment
• Housekeeping Duties: Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas
• Housekeeping Duties: Replenish cleaning and paper supplies as needed
• Dining Attendant Duties: Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after meals
• Dining Attendant Duties: Ensure dining rooms are clean, organized, and welcoming for residents and guests
• Dining Attendant Duties: Set tables, deliver meals, and provide friendly, attentive service during dining hours
• Dining Attendant Duties: Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen service areas
• Dining Attendant Duties: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Dining Attendant Duties: Assist residents as needed to ensure a pleasant and comfortable dining experience
• General Responsibilities: Uphold a warm, respectful, service-oriented approach to residents, visitors, and team members
