Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, operating Ivy Park at Los Gatos, is seeking a Housekeeper to clean resident apartments and common areas, and to handle resident and community laundry in a courteous, safety-conscious manner.

Ideal candidates have customer service strengths and a desire to care for the elderly, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. A background check and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE may be required per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
