Adams Place Independent Living seeks a dependable Housekeeper to join our day shift team. The role involves standing for 7-8 hours, lifting heavy objects, and handling cleaning chemicals while providing courteous service to patients, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, assisting in laundry, following schedules, and maintaining resident homes. We value a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork in a geriatric care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand Standard English.
• Must be flexible, be a team player, and have a positive attitude.
• Must enjoy working with geriatric and other healthcare patients.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas: hallways, walls, furniture and equipment.
• Assist in the laundry room.
• Follow established cleaning schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Clean resident homes (kitchen, bathrooms, dust, mop, change bed).
• Empty garbage cans.
