Job summary

AdamsPlace in Desloge, MO is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe patient areas. You will clean patient rooms and bathrooms, empty trash, and help keep hallways and common areas tidy according to center policies.

Ideal candidates read English, are flexible, team oriented, and comfortable caring for geriatric patients. Responsibilities include following schedules, using cleaning agents safely, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Read and understand Standard English.
• Flexible, a team player, with a positive attitude.
• Enjoy working with geriatric and other health‑care patients.
• Tactfully and effectively handle interactions with patients, families, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showers.
• Empty garbage cans in patient rooms, bathrooms, activity areas and other parts of the center.
• Clean patient rooms, including mopping, buffing floors, dusting furniture (top and underneath).
• Clean hallways, sweep debris, mop, strip and buff as per company and center policies.
• Clean walls, furniture and equipment as needed to provide a clean, pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Work safely, following proper procedures when using chemical agents.
• Follow established cleaning schedules.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
