Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents in English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties as scheduled (daily, weekly, monthly) in apartments, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; rotate runners in hallways and entryways.
• Clean, sanitize and polish lavatory fixtures; stock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub tiles, woodwork, window frames and sills.
• Maintain equipment and keep areas clean and orderly.
• Collect trash and redistribute to designated areas.
• Handle community laundry and maintain the commercial laundry hygienically.
• Store chemicals safely and keep cords and equipment out of walkways.
