Cherry Springs Village is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. You will perform general cleaning, assist with laundry, and support waste and supply management to keep the facility orderly and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling materials, keeping waste areas clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow all safety protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: work closely with staff to keep the facility well-maintained.
• Resident Engagement: engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
