Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check required.
• Compassion and interest in working with seniors.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families and staff.
• Must meet health requirements per state regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain current food handler’s card.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks to keep residents' environment clean and orderly.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and sanitation of all areas.
• Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; stay current on assigned tasks.
• Provide a home-like, respectful, and dignified environment for residents.
