Job summary

The Housekeeper at Oakmont Management Group is responsible for cleaning all resident apartments, public areas, common areas, and work areas and doing laundry for residents and the community in a friendly, courteous manner.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, following safety standards, and promoting teamwork across departments; prior housekeeping experience is preferred and the role requires at least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety, vaccination and PPE protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean all resident apartments, as directed.
• Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed.
• Complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
