Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Ocean Isle is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments for residents and staff. You will clean apartments and common areas, handle laundry, restock supplies, and coordinate cleaning activities with maintenance as needed.

The role requires English communication, basic math, strong organization, and adherence to sanitation standards. Training is provided, and benefits are included as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Company specified training programs.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and resident’s apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
• Perform laundry duties: wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens.
• Maintain resident laundry areas and clean utility/storage rooms.
• Wash windows and keep areas clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
• Stock the cleaning cart and manage waste disposal.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and issues.
• Report health or living status changes to Supervisor.
• May perform other duties as needed.
