Job summary

Savant Senior Living in California is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our Assisted Living Facility. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and support safety and infection control policies while delivering courteous service to residents and staff.

The role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and requires high school diploma and prior custodial experience in health care or senior living. Pay ranges from $18 to $20.50 per hour with health insurance and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in a professional setting.
• Understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal communication and interaction with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing bed linens.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas such as lounges, dining areas, hallways, and restrooms.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as emptying trash and polishing surfaces.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Uphold resident privacy and confidentiality and provide courteous service.
