Friendship Village STL in St. Louis is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of Independent Living spaces, resident rooms, and common areas.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:30pm to 4:30pm, and emphasizes a strong customer-service mindset with a caring approach to residents. The ideal candidate will be friendly, cooperative, and able to work well with staff and residents to support the community’s goals.

Qualifications

• Housekeeper with a strong positive attitude toward customer service.
• Genuine interest in geriatric care and ability to motivate while maintaining staff/resident relationships.
• Desire to do the best job possible, be creative, and work toward facility goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of assigned Independent Living, resident rooms, and common areas.
• Provide basic housekeeping duties: change sheets, replace towels, restock supplies, vacuum, dust, and tidy rooms after guests check out.
• Report and return any guest properties; notify supervisor of any property damage.
• Clean, disinfect, and store equipment at end of shift.
