Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Business Development Director in Gresham, OR to lead lead generation, cultivate key referral sources, and drive move-ins. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Resident Program teams to create events, educate providers, and expand the community’s reach in the local medical and community networks.

The role requires 2–3+ years of senior living sales or admissions experience, strong English communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university.
• 2-3+ years of sales/admission experience in senior living.
• Fluency in English with strong communication.
• Must drive and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events with Sales and Marketing to attract prospective residents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and providers of care.
• Identify and nurture macro referral sources and maintain relationships with them.
• Generate required referrals to meet move-in targets and financial goals.
• Educate referral sources on products/services and care coordination.
• Engage with professional societies in the senior living sector as appropriate.
• Implement strategic sales/marketing plans to reach quarterly move-in objectives.
• Build and maintain territory call objectives and networks with senior-related resources.
• Communicate progress and referrals to executives and the sales/marketing teams.
• Maintain thorough records in the sales database and protect confidential information.
• Assist Community Relations Director with special projects.
