The Hill at Whitemarsh is an upscale retirement community in Lafayette Hill, PA, seeking a professional Cook for full-time days/evenings and weekends to join a high-standard, resident-focused dining team.

Responsibilities include preparing meals per recipes, establishing production lines, controlling waste, inventory, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety guidelines. Culinary degree preferred; fine dining exp is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with portion, and quality standards specified in recipes or as designated by servers within policy.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Controls food usage to minimize waste.
• Assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area.
• Actively supports Dining Management in educating and enforcing The Hill at Whitemarsh policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Executive Chef in oversight of a well-trained line staff.
• May assist by performing other kitchen duties as needed.
