Job summary

Avamere at Sherwood in Oregon seeks an Executive Director to lead operations for the independent, memory care, and assisted living facility. You will drive financial performance, regulatory compliance, and resident-family engagement while building a strong leadership team and a warm, inclusive community.

You will create and execute business plans, manage budgets, and partner with campus teams to grow occupancy and revenue, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or business.
• Must be a licensed Resident Care Facility Administrator in Oregon.
• Prefer two+ years of leadership experience in memory care or assisted living.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the independent, memory care and/or assisted living facility.
• Develop and implement business plans and annual operating budgets.
• Build strong relationships with management and foster an inclusive culture.
• Empower department leaders to supervise, direct, and motivate staff.
• Provide training and mentorship to leaders and staff as needed.
