Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for buildings with 200+ units in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, building systems repairs, and staff training as needed.

The position requires 1-3 years of experience and a high school diploma or GED. The schedule includes 48 hours every two weeks, with Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday shifts, plus every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance or related experience
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains physical structure and grounds.
• Changes filters and checks belts on air handle units.
• Checks kitchen equipment.
• Greases, checks belts, and oils laundry equipment.
• Helps in Housekeeping as requested.
• Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
• Keeps shop in a clean and orderly manner.
• Removes snow from sidewalks and walkways and uses ice melt on sidewalks as needed.
• Trims around bushes, trees, and sidewalks.
• Keeps grounds safe and looking neat and attractive.
