Job summary

Parc Communities, LLC is seeking a Building Services Director to lead the daily maintenance and housekeeping operations across our community, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and asset preservation. You will oversee vendor relations, budgeting, and on-call response to emergencies to maintain superior resident experiences.

The role requires a degree in a related field with 4–6 years of facilities management, HVAC/plumbing expertise, and leadership, with CFM and state certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Building Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanics, or related field with 4–6 years of facilities/building maintenance experience.
• Technical training and working knowledge in HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and pool maintenance.
• Experience overseeing maintenance, safety, and efficiency of building systems incl. life-safety systems and utilities.
• CFM certification preferred; state licensure/HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in commercial/residential/senior living or hospitality facilities.
• On-call availability and timely response to emergencies.
• Strong report-writing, budgeting, and team communication capabilities.
• Proven leadership in hiring, training, supervising, and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Manage property management software for maintenance schedules, asset management, and work orders.
• Oversee maintenance of community assets to institutional standards.
• Supervise and evaluate maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Maintain facilities equipment and ensure licenses, permits, and certifications are current.
• Provide coaching and performance evaluations to staff.
• On-call and weekend/holiday coverage as required.
• Prepare and refurbish suites for resident move-ins and manage safety documentation.
