Job summary

Senior Services of America is seeking an Executive Director for HOLI Senior Living in Hillsboro, OR. This role leads the community, overseeing operations, staff, and compliance with regulations to ensure high-quality care for residents.

The Executive Director will manage fiscal performance, coordinate with ownership and management, and drive strategies for occupancy and service excellence within a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must satisfy all state health, licensure/certification, and background requirements.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration or related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates and Licenses : Must complete CPR and First Aid certifications if not current, plus any additional licensing requirements in state(s) of practice.
• Communication Skills: Receive and carry out verbal or written instruction. Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via email with customers and co-workers. Write and proofread routine correspondence and reports with appropriate grammar and spelling.
• Organization/Self-Management Skills: Perform a variety of duties, moving between tasks of differing nature, with frequent distractions and interruptions.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with computers, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assumes all duties delegated by ownership through the management companies, Divisional Director of Operations, and community Board of Directors.
• Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all residents and staff.
• Operates the community in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including the maintenance of all appropriate licenses; maintains records per state and federal requirements.
• Responsible for the day-to-day performance of the community and meeting customer and financial expectations as set forth for the community operations.
• Manages revenue and expense control, including labor, in accordance with company policies and procedures; helps prepare annual budget and provides feedback and review during budgeting process.
