Job summary

Agemark Senior Living's CountryHouse Elkhorn is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community in Elkhorn, NE. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive occupancy, and guide staff in delivering exceptional resident care.

You will partner with nursing leadership, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of compliance and culture, while fostering community relationships and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• A degree in healthcare, business, nursing, geriatrics, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in senior housing, healthcare, or a related industry required.
• At least 2 years of experience managing both staff and a budget.
• Demonstrated integrity, judgment, and follow-through.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong problem-solving instincts.
• Comfort with technology, including social media and day-to-day computer use.
• Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Natural ability to build relationships with team, residents, families, and community.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on company values and objectives and stay connected to all departments.
• Hire, train, and supervise a successful team and mentor department heads.
• Drive staff growth through coaching and recognition.
• Run daily stand-ups, weekly leadership meetings, and monthly staff and safety meetings.
• Address performance issues and foster a safe, positive work environment.
• Partner with families, service providers, and staff to deliver personalized care.
• Help residents live with safety, dignity, and independence.
• Guide families through care planning and major decisions.
• Measure satisfaction and participate in Life Enrichment programming.
