Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years supervisory experience required.
• Food Service experience in hospitality, country club, or senior living industry preferred.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food service operations and budget.
• Maintains professional appearance, manner, and approach on duty.
• Monitors key performance indicators of daily operations.
• Implements policies, procedures and standards of performance.
• Trains and coaches kitchen staff and coordinates ongoing education.
• Plans menus and diet considerations in coordination with medical staff.
• Manages purchasing, sanitation, safety and inventory controls.
