Job summary

National Church Residences is hiring an Environmental Services Technician in Westerville, Ohio. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on general housekeeping and laundry for residents and common areas, reporting to the Director of Environmental Services/Maintenance.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry duties, moving and safety-related tasks, and ensuring a clean, orderly facility. Prior housekeeping experience and basic English proficiency are desirable.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school coursework or GED.
• Some preferred to one year experience.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash, dust, and vacuum all common areas thoroughly.
• Clean and deodorize bathrooms; replace toilet paper and towels; polish furniture and fixtures; mop floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, social and common areas; move in/out related cleaning as needed.
• Ensure laundry is handled: process soiled linens, fold and distribute clean linen, deliver to residents.
• Keep laundry equipment clean and area organized; monitor supplies.
