Job summary

National Church Residences in Westerville, OH, seeks a Housekeeper to perform general housekeeping and laundry assignments in common areas, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekend shifts.

Under supervision of Environmental Services, you will empty trash, vacuum, clean bathrooms, launder and distribute linens, and help maintain safe, orderly resident areas while adhering to safety guidelines and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Completion of high school coursework or general education requirement certificate.
• Some housekeeping experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Empty trash, dust, and vacuum all common areas; clean and deodorize bathrooms; replace toilet paper and paper towels; polish/clean furniture, fixtures, and window ledges; mop floors.
• Assist in maintaining common areas and grounds; ensure they are clean, safe, and free of trash; perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Clean office equipment and perform general clean-up in social and common areas such as hallways, break rooms, conference rooms.
• Process and deliver clean linen; wash and dry soiled linens; fold and distribute linen; deliver linens to residents' closets.
• Keep washers and dryers clean; maintain laundry area and linen closets; monitor supplies.
• Deliver clean laundry to each wing; ensure timely delivery; assist move in/out cleaning as needed.
• Respond to safety and cleanliness requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
