Job summary

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. In this full-time role you will plan, schedule and coordinate activities for residents, supporting their physical, mental and social well-being. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred) and experience with seniors in activities. You will lead daily programs, prepare monthly calendars and assist with resident transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities and events.
• Promote a healthy community culture for residents and staff.
• Provide opportunities for disease prevention and wellness education.
• Lead daily resident activities following community standards.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars.
• Plan and execute diverse programs for a varied resident population.
• Coordinate resident transportation and shuttle operations.
