Discovery Village at Boynton Beach is seeking an Activities & Events Coordinator to enrich the lives of residents, create meaningful connections, and make a difference every day. You will assist in developing and overseeing resident services, fostering resident engagement, and ensuring events run smoothly while maintaining a warm, welcoming community environment.

Your qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience in assisted living or senior care, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• One to three years of experience preferred in assisted living, long-term care, or experience with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, serving residents' primary language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and overseeing a diverse calendar of resident activities and events that support well-being.
• Coordinate and lead community programs from set-up through clean-up.
• Partner with team members and residents to create meaningful experiences that promote engagement and joy.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to a variety of interests and abilities.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and organization of events with timely communication.
