Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks an EMT/EMR to join our Security & Emergency Services team. You will patrol the property, respond to calls, enforce traffic and parking rules, and provide immediate medical care using basic interventions, supporting resident safety and wellbeing.

Full-time schedules are 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am; per diem/part-time roles are also available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approach with strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level certification/licensure acceptable with EMR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls from dispatch and security and provide medical care using basic interventions.
• Assist with incident reporting and coordination with police, fire and EMS as needed.
• Support safety and well-being of residents and staff on site.
