Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a reliable Driver/Facility Maintenance Technician to transport residents to appointments and keep living areas well maintained.

You will be friendly, detail oriented, and able to follow safety procedures as you support the Maintenance Director and help residents with mobility needs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Arizona driver's license.
• Clean MVR for the last 5 years.
• Clean background and drug-free lifestyle.
• Ability to plan and communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Driving experience with a company vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport senior residents to doctors’ appointments and other places in a timely and disciplined manner.
• Load and unload wheelchairs and walkers; assist residents into cars and out to appointments.
• Plan and research driving routes; narrate landmarks and share historical facts.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections; keep vehicles clean; maintain drivers’ logbook.
• Assist Maintenance Director with general maintenance tasks.
