Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in York, PA is seeking a Driver to provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities, while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities include assisting disabled passengers, securing wheelchairs, communicating with base, maintaining vehicles, and assisting with registrations. This role supports our senior living community with safety and reliability as core priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
