Job summary

Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking a Utility Worker/Dishwasher to support the Culinary Services Department. The role maintains clean and sanitary food service areas, assists with basic food prep, and helps keep production areas organized.

This full-time position requires attention to detail, adherence to health regulations, and teamwork with residents and staff. Shift is 11a-7p with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must pay attention to details.
• Observe regulations to protect health information and ensure minimal exposure.
• Assist in keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitary.
• Work well with residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow written and oral directions, complete tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary food service areas, facilities and equipment.
• Assist in ware-washing, dishwashing, pot washing and general cleaning.
• Assist serving staff with setup and clearing of tables.
• Sanitize production equipment and work surfaces; adhere to diets and policies.
• Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
