Our Dishwashers are responsible for:

• Performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities including dish washing, pot washing, general equipment cleaning, storage, and overall janitorial duties in the kitchen and dining areas, and busing tables. Adheres to customer service philosophy by providing excellent customer service to residents, their families, and team members.
• Cleaning pots, pans, and dishes following prescribed procedures found in Company Policy and Procedure for Kitchen Sanitation.
• Assisting the cooks in preparation of the breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals.
• Preparing dishwasher machine for next dishwashing period.
• Recording wash, rinse, and sanitize levels on the Dish Machine Temperature Log Sheet.
• Handling all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.
• Completing all cleaning duties on daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning schedules.
• Removing all garbage from the kitchen and dish room.
• Mopping the dish-room and kitchen floors twice daily and as needed.
• Following all closing procedures as outlined in Company Policies and Procedures as the last employee to leave the kitchen at the end of the shift.
• Assisting with other duties including prep work, hot or cold line assistance, food storage, dating and labeling, and busing tables.
