Job summary

Brightview Senior Living LLC seeks an Assisted Living Director to lead and inspire a care-focused team delivering exceptional ADL services to residents. You will collaborate with health services leadership and external partners to ensure vibrant, high-quality care.

You will supervise MedTechs and RAs, manage schedules, participate in resident assessments and family meetings, and contribute to Resident Services Plans. A 24x7 environment requires strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a health care, social science, or business discipline and a minimum of three years’ experience in health care, senior living, or a strong service environment; degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a 24 x 7 environment.
• Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing demands for time and attention.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact, in English, with a diverse group of associates, residents and family members.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and energy.

Responsibilities

• Select, build, coach and supervise a team of Medication Technicians and Resident Assistants providing ADL services.
• Lead the team to meet mission, quality, safety and performance standards.
• Develop, monitor and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and budget adherence.
• Participate in resident assessments, help identify needs and changes in condition.
• Contribute to Resident Services Plans and participate in resident/family meetings.
• Support new hire training and monthly in-service trainings.
