Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Milpitas, California, seeks an Assisted Living Director to oversee the AL department, ensure resident care meets physician orders and state regulations, and lead a compassionate, compliant care team.

You will partner with healthcare professionals, attend weekly care meetings, manage staff, and uphold Oakmont standards while delivering programs that enrich residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain administrator license/certification.
• Prefer experience in RCFE or healthcare management.
• Experience supervising teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care complies with physician orders, state regs, and policies.
• Lead Community leadership team and represent Oakmont values.
• Coordinate with physicians, discharge planners, nurses, and state agencies.
• Attend weekly care meetings to review service plans and changes in care.
• Provide current care plans to care teams and ensure documentation.
• Report information to licensing as required by state regulations.
• Oversee programs to meet participation and outcomes goals.
• Communicate with residents and families about care needs.
• Hire, train, and manage department staff.
• Oversee ADLs and ensure safe, dignified resident care.
• Assist with Care Provider and Medication Technician duties when needed.
