Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks an experienced Dining Services Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of all dining services in our West Chester, PA community. You will manage food production, purchasing, budgeting, and staff scheduling while ensuring safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in food service, ServSafe certification, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous Food Service experience.
• Serv Safe certification and/or other local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly with a positive, professional attitude.
• Strong communication and leadership to direct dining staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow Dining Policy and Procedures and ensure department compliance.
• Oversee purchasing of dining food and nonfood items; target 95% DSSI ordering compliance.
• Balance and maintain budgets for raw food and supplies.
• Ensure food is served at proper temperature and in proper portions for safety and palatability.
• Interview, train, hire, discipline, and manage dining staff; schedule to meet labor budget.
• Ensure dining areas are clean and comply with health regulations.
