Job summary

Thrivemore is seeking a Dining Room Server to provide courteous, timely, and efficient meal service to residents and guests in a clean dining environment. You will ensure accurate order delivery, maintain readiness, and support a high-quality hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout meals.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, clarify dietary needs or preferences, and communicate orders to kitchen staff.
• Deliver meals promptly and ensure orders are correct and align with dietary guidelines.
• Clear and reset tables between seatings; maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Refill beverages, offer additional items, and respond promptly to resident and guest requests.
• Assist with meal setup, stocking service stations, and ensuring dining areas are prepared before each service.
• Monitor the dining room for resident safety and comfort, reporting concerns as needed.
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and infection control practices, including proper glove use.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions to assist residents effectively.
• Interact with residents, families, and visitors professionally and courteously.
• Maintain professional interactions with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, and facility standards of care.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and laws including HIPAA and Code of Conduct.
