Job summary

The Residence at Brookside in Avon, CT is seeking friendly servers for part-time and per diem shifts to deliver a restaurant-style dining experience for residents. You will work closely with the Culinary Services Director to ensure residents are satisfied with food and dining programs, and you will help promote a welcoming dining environment.

Responsibilities include setting tables, taking and delivering orders, serving beverages, reviewing menus with residents, and assisting with dining events

Qualifications

• The ability to respond calmly to emergency situations is essential.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is essential.
• Focused and dedicated to provide excellent customer service.
• Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to LCB standards and serve residents and guests beverages.
• Review daily menu with residents and take accurate meal orders.
• Assist with preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs and events.
• Adhere to quality enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with dining area tasks and resident orientation.
