Job summary

Davis Conference Center is seeking a Dining Room Server to provide friendly, attentive service to residents and guests during meals, handle orders, and manage special requests in a polished, professional manner.

This role requires 1–3 years in dining or hospitality, a valid Food Handler's Permit or ServeSafe, and a high school diploma. Full-time opportunities with benefits are offered by Western States Lodging & Management in Layton, UT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience in dining, hospitality, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests with a friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Take resident food orders and serve meals in a polished, professional manner.
• Handle special requests and accommodations including dietary restrictions and seating preferences.
• Assist residents with seating arrangements and coordinate reservations during busy times.
• Monitor the dining area for cleanliness, organization, and safety; address issues promptly.
• Set, clear, and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Refill beverages and ensure condiments and supplies are stocked.
• Assist with training new Dining Room Servers and provide guidance as needed.
• Respond professionally to resident and guest questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Follow all food-handling, safety, sanitation, infection control, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Work collaboratively with residents, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
