Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dining Services Server in Grand Rapids to provide prompt, courteous service in the dining room and during events. You will help with serving, bussing, light prep, and maintaining a welcoming, sanitary dining environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include serving meals, assisting in meetings, and ensuring safety standards are followed. A 16-year-old minimum and prior food-service exposure are noted as desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Must read and follow safety practices and regulations.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service including serving and bussing tables.
• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff in dining areas.
• Open and close dining rooms as needed.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain cleanliness of prep areas.
• Support meetings and events with snacks, coffee and beverages.
