Cogir Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Server for our community restaurant, delivering exceptional dining to our senior residents and ensuring dietary needs are met with a friendly, professional approach.

You will take orders, serve meals, and maintain a welcoming dining environment while collaborating with care and culinary teams. This role emphasizes teamwork and compassionate customer service, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
