Discovery Village at Dominion Assisted Living in San Antonio, TX seeks a dedicated Server to create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests. You will provide friendly, timely meal service and help maintain a clean, inviting environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, assisting residents with selections, and supporting training for new servers. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and adherence to safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25–50 lbs.).
• Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidays.
• Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals.

Responsabilités

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
