Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals; set tables with dinnerware and decor.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders.
• Monitor and maintain supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• Observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining service equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
• May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
