Job summary

The Wesleyan in Georgetown, Texas, is seeking a full-time Server to join our Independent Living community. Experience in dining services and a passion for providing excellent customer service are essential to success in this role.

Join our mission-driven team dedicated to quality of life for residents. Shift schedule runs 10:30AM-7:00PM with varying days, including weekends, to support residents' dining experiences across settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Oriented toward serving others and helping customers.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• A service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
• A passion for working within a senior living community is a must!

Responsibilities

• Preparing drinks, salads, foods, and desserts and set them up as directed.
• Prepare dining room and trays for meals.
• Greet residents and ensure that their dining experience is going well.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room and/or rooms, and be available to check for seconds and substitutions.
• General cleaning duties: May include dishes, pots and pans, equipment, dining room, floors, tables, work areas, etc.
• May be responsible for the proper disposal of trash.
• May be required to complete other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or Director of Dining Service.
