Qualifications

• Must read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take meal orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to community service standards.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and families.
• Set and reset dining room tables according to standards; maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Assist with meal preparation tasks as assigned; maintain beverage stations.
• Participate in special events, holiday meals, and catering functions.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures and infection control practices.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to management.
