Job summary

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead our Signature Dining Team. You will oversee service, training, and scheduling to ensure exceptional resident dining experiences.

You will hire, coach, and evaluate dining room staff, ensure daily cleaning and safety standards, and manage budgetary guidelines while maintaining a Do Whatever It Takes attitude. Schedule may vary; compensation is market-aligned for hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years food service experience, including 3 years of previous dining room management.
• Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred.
• Must read/comprehend/write/speak English to communicate with residents, families, team members and vendors.
• Must have basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
• Must meet health-related and/or food handling requirements pertaining to local or state regulatory agencies.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid credentials
• Must maintain Food Handlers credentials
• Must maintain annual Continuing Education Credits

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, directs, coaches, and evaluates all dining room team members.
• Develops and trains team on service standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensures dining room operates within budgetary guidelines.
• Maintains regulatory compliance with OSHA and local/state guidelines.
• Serves as a member of the Community Management Team and assists with other management duties.
• Train dining team about menu options, allergies, and dietary accommodations.
• Ensure proper cleaning and organization of dining and kitchen areas.
• Schedule dining room staff and assign daily tasks.
• Address resident and family concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Assist with community events and marketing functions.
