Job summary

Sagora Senior Living’s Ansel Park Independent Living community in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead dining services with a guest-first approach. You will interview, train, and supervise serving staff, coordinate with the Culinary Director, and ensure Residents receive high-quality meals and beverages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred (Hospitality Management desired).
• 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality industry or equivalent educational and experience combination.
• Current Food Handler's permit.
• Ability to work all shifts and cover for shift openings.
• Organization skills with ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train new culinary associates in conjunction with the Culinary Director.
• Schedule servers and maintain the flow of service from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Keep the dining room clean and service ready; deep clean kitchen monthly.
• Management and supervision of all service associates assigned to dining room.
• Assist with management of alcohol service in accordance with state regulations and Sagora policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety functions and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with associates.
