Monarch Communities is seeking a Kitchen Helper to deliver excellent dining experiences for residents and guests. You will take meal orders, serve meals, assist with dishwashing, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room.

This part-time, on-site role requires strong customer service, attention to dietary needs, and the ability to work well in a team. Prior hospitality or senior living experience is preferred. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted.
• Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Experience working with seniors.

Responsabilités

• Take residents' dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn and retain residents' names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure dining room is set up and all items needed for service are available.
• Assist with cleaning, dishwashing and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen and serving stations.
• Ensure safe food handling.
• Assist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads and condiments for service.
• Assist residents with any special dining requests.
• Ensure all residents are accounted for during each meal and documentation is completed.
• Assist with special events.
• Participates in and attends all in-service training as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and community policies.
