Responsibilities include serving meals, following dietary standards, cleaning tables, and helping in the kitchen as needed. Strong English communication and a willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to elders and guests.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• The Dining Assistant/Waiter serves elders and guests, takes orders for meals, and cleans tables after meals.
• Provides meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method
• Cleans the kitchen, washes dishes, and returns food to proper storage.
• Adheres to infection control, food-borne illness prevention, chemical handling, fire safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures snacks are available for elders with special dietary needs.
