Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry heavy objects 20 ft.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Attends required in-services and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously.
• Provide beverage service (water, juice, coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and menu orders.
• Assist with dining room setup, cleanup and reset after meals.
• Report any broken equipment or supplies to supervisor.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
