Job summary

DiningRD is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an Assisted Living Community. The consultant will conduct quarterly onsite visits (4 hours per visit) to perform food safety and sanitation audits, dining observations, and nutrition referrals for high-risk residents.

You will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure meals meet nutritional standards, provide education, support policy development, and mentor dining staff, while complying with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• CDR credentials required.
• State license, if required by state.
• 2 years consulting experience preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' nutrition needs and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Provide nutrition education and guidance to staff.
• Assist with MDS processes and nutrition assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train and mentor dining managers and staff on nutrition and dining standards.
