Full-time position with early shift (6am-2pm). Requires ability to follow English instructions, perform basic arithmetic, and show empathy for the elderly. Prior nursing home food service experience preferred; reliable transportation a must.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and perform simple arithmetic.
• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
