Job summary

Arbors Management is seeking a reliable Custodian to help maintain senior living communities in Crafton and Perrysville, Pittsburgh. You will keep lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms clean and safe for residents.

The role requires physical stamina, punctuality, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and building regulations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reliable Transportation to Crafton and Perrysville properties.
• Respectful and professional communication with senior residents.
• Ability to perform standard custodial tasks (lifting, sweeping, standing).
• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work is a plus.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Common Areas: Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Apartment Turnovers: Deep clean vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
• Groundskeeping: Handle trash removal, sweep sidewalks, and assist with winter snow/ice removal.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety policies and HUD/Section 8 building standards.
