Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Culinary Services Supervisor to lead the production team for Assisted Living, Long-Term Care and Post-Acute areas. Full-time hours 10:30a–7p with responsibilities including recipe development, diet compliance, staffing, ordering, and inventory control.

You will supervise staff, ensure quality and timely meals, and support menu planning while maintaining compliance with regulations. The role suits someone passionate about senior care in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent cook, preferably with formal culinary training.
• Knowledge of health care food service regulations.
• Superior supervisory and customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with the senior population.
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule and hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing recipes and prepares regular and therapeutic diets.
• Processes and follows resident diet orders.
• Ensures pantries are stocked and daily temperature logs are completed.
• Supervises culinary staff and ensures meals are served hot and attractively.
• Supports menu planning and overall production of the culinary services department.
